It's been a while since I last updated this blog, so let me toss out a quick sketch I did a few minutes ago. Enjoy!

The First Multipanel PC Weenies in Years!

This was fun - sadly, inspired by recent events where my wife was involved in a fender-bender. She's okay, and the car has minimal damage. The toon idea was running in my mind and I had to let it out....

Putting together a cover....

The Sequential Arts Club is something that Brandon McKinney and I are organizing for the Art Institute of Tampa's students.
Below are some images from the design process. I began with a very rough sketch showing placement and layout. I very much wanted our 8" x 10" flyer to catch someone's attention - and what better way than an old skool comic book cover. With the layout in mind, I then sent it over to Brandon and Dave Lanphear for review. Dave will be handling the logo (it will most likely be different than what you see here), and Brandon provided the pencils and inks to his character and those wacky ninjas. I provided a 'Super Krishna' version - which I digitally inked and integrated into Brandon's scanned image.

From there it was a matter of figuring out what colors would work best. I went with 'loud' colors - because I want this thing to get people's attention. :)

The last image is not the final image - I was itching to finish the cover before getting Dave's logo - so I threw something together to see how the overall composition would look.
