PCW #896

Beyond the usual kiss, I had never truly shown Bob and Pam being intimate. I realzed that was pretty weird - especially after almost 900 toons. I mean, they would have to have SOME level of intimacy and chemistry in order to stay together. Given the family friendly nature, I had debated as to whether or not I should publish the toon on my site. But then I realized that what I have portrayed is FAR more innocent than what kids are used to seeing on television and in the movies. Besides, there's nothing wrong with showing a loving couple in bed, now is there?

The character in the box would have had a huge tail, but then I settled on leaving it out within the final version. This was one of those toons that I had already clearly come up with the punchline, making the toon very easy to crank out.

PCW #894

PC Weenies #894. Bob has a smile in the sketch, because intially I had planned on using the same punchline, but with Bob saying "Score!" as if he was looking forward to fixing the PC. However, I revised it in the final toon to turn Bob's smile into a frown keeping in line with the notion that most techies do not like to fix other people's stuff when they are invited out for a social gathering.

PCW #893

Bob meets aliens. Toon at 11.

PCW #892

The sketch was the basis of my entry into the Scientific Idol Contest. Elements of the surreal have always been a recurring theme within the toon, it gives me a way to branch out and stretch my drawing muscles, and I quite like having that opportunity.

PCW #891

Sorry for the long delay between updates. It's Sunday, and I am only now catching back up with the toon. In the original sketch I had planned on including Robo, but later withdrew him (no pun intended) in the final version.

Sorry these were posted late. It's been a very busy week - but here are the sketches for PCW #889 and PCW #890.

PCW #888

Last week was guest-week, so there were no sketch updates here. I'm back in the saddle again, this time with a Bond spoof featuring good ol' Grampa. This is the last in a triptych of movie inspired PCW toons. At least for the time-being. They were fun to do, and I hope you have enjoyed seeing them.
